十一月，我们的活动正式开展。经过统计，此次作文比赛共收上来英语文章240余篇，其中五年级110篇，六年级130篇。经过各位教师的评选，批改，共评出一等奖20人，二等奖50人，三等奖80人，鼓励参与奖90人。各奖项已经发了奖品作为奖励。
本次活动的举行，五、六年级的学生参与性强，经常有孩子来问老师怎么选题，用什么时态来写，这个句型这样写行不行，这句话中的这个词能不能用别的词来代替。他们写好以后，还请教师批改，再工工整整的重新誊抄一遍，在写作文的.过程当中，他们的词汇增多了，句型运用更灵活了，就连书写也美观了，许多学生有了收获。
本次活动的举行，体现了小学英语课程标准的对学生的写的能力的要求，并且高于新课标的要求，对学生的写作能力是个锻炼，提高了他们写作的积极性，促使他们积极主动的学习，从要我背单词到我要积极的多背单词。学习态度发生了转变。体现了新课标的要求。
本次活动也有值得注意的地方：
一．学生的参与面再广一些就好了；
二．教师先给范文，再让学生摹写，对更多的学生是个锻炼；
三．好的英语小作文要收集好，制作出作文集锦，让学生互相学习；
